How to get involved

The Young Volunteer's Taskforce - anyone aged 13+ or up is welcome to join our young people's Volunteer Taskforce. This is a group of young volunteers who plan, organise and carry out a range of projects and events that will benefit the community, building friendships and developing important life skills along the way. The Taskforce is for young people who want to give back to their community.

Adult Den Volunteer - anyone that can spare a few hours is encouraged to come and get involved! We always need a spare pair of hands on our Youth Club nights and we can offer a range of experiences of working with children and young people.

Board of Trustees - The board that runs The Den are all volunteers. We utilise skills that people may have developed from the workplace or life experiences to run our community building and manage the charity. These could include IT skills, HR knowledge, experience of fundraising and charity work, finance and accounting experience or handyman/ building management skills. It may be that you don't have a specialist area but want to gain experience in a new area and we can help with this as well! The majority of the Trustee positions can be done remotely - get in touch with us for more info and an informal chat.
